Not too much. For my equipment and place to stand, I need a 4' x 4' to 6' x 6' area.
Usually, your living room or basement play room is a perfect place for this. Other than that, an area right in front of my performing area for the children to sit and enjoy the show is all that is needed.
No, I bring everything that I will need: tables, props etc.
I have many parent's who want to video their child's "Fun Magic Birthday" so I do not mind photography as long as they are not used for commercial purposes, video taping some segments are ok, however video taping of the entire show is strictly forbidden.
Yes, providing the weather is decent. If the wind is blowing, it can cause problems as some of my props are very light and will blow away. It's always safer to have it indoors plus there will be less distractions.
I offer several different entertainment packages for children's birthday parties. For complete details, including pricing, simply fill out my
information request form and I'll contact you with all the options.
Only if the show requires travel outside of my normal performing area (over 50 miles) at which time a 50% deposit is required, otherwise, you don't pay until the day of your child's party. I accept cash or checks, made payable to: On-Call Coaching, LLC which is my parent company. I also accept credit cards and Venmo.
Yes! I take pride in that my show is specifically geared towards children ages 4-10. I specialize in entertaining children with clean, fun magic.
A good general rule of thumb is to have my show begin about a half hour after the party is to begin. This prevents distractions from late arriving guests. Depending on which package you go with, the show usually lasts 40 minutes.
Yes! I then have all of the birthday children be active in the show. Everything else is the same except we have a few more lucky participants!
Due to liability and insurance, I do require that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (besides me). While, I have been safe environment trained, another adult should always be present, this is protect you, the children and myself. The adults will have just as much fun seeing the show and will probably want to take pictures, especially if their children are helping in the show.
